At Yoga Academy You Are The Buddha we offer a unique and personally tailored yoga therapy program. Our approach combines the ancient wisdom of yoga with modern insights into health and wellness. Yoga therapy is a therapeutic form of yoga that focuses on promoting health and reducing complaints by applying specific yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation.

What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy differs from a regular yoga class because yoga therapy is not only aimed at improving flexibility and strength, but also at therapeutically supporting physical and mental health problems. Through yoga therapy we can work together on a specific complaint or condition, such as stress, chronic pain, or recovery after illness such as Long COVID, for which we have developed a specialized program.

Relief of specific complaints: Yoga therapy can help reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, back pain, and other physical or mental challenges.

Private lessons with Marlies: For a more personal approach you can also opt for individual sessions with me, Marlies. In these sessions we can delve deeper into your specific situation and I will develop a tailor-made program that perfectly matches your recovery path.
